There’s been a lot of discussions lately in the music production world for the relatively recent update to macOS Catalina.įor the most part, music producers and other tech people are recommending we don’t update to macOS Catalina due to the various incompatibilities between some of the older plug-ins and the new updated system.įrom what I understand, a big part of the problem is the fact that many of the plug-ins are 32-bit, rather than 64-bit, and macOS Catalina no longer supports 32-bit software and plug-ins.
